I love my work here and I will explain to you what is a typical day of an intern work in the Kaito Yumin Club and why it’s a wonderful experience for me.
I check the activity schedule and I see we have a Kayak tour! Amazing!
The first thing I do with the help of the wonderful staff of the Kaito Yumin Club is to prepare all the Kayaks for our dear’s customers, after that we can welcoming customers and we starting the class of the presentation of the beautiful area of Toba Sea and some of the animals leaving in this area.
Now we introduce us to our cute neighbors we can start to learn how to do kayaking! let’s go!!!
First how to use the paddle we are like babies learn how to walk but were doing a great job ！
Second how to enter in to on of the most beautiful kayaks in the world with a famous method call : “Ashi, Oshiri, Ashiii”
Now we can go discover all the beauty of this area!
Ready to explore? Not so fast, captain! Before we conquer the ocean, it’s boot camp time.
“Everyone! Right, left, right, left… now reverse! No, your other right!”
After a few accidental 360-degree spins, we are officially ready. We launch into the clear waters! Face to you, the stunning Mitsu Shima islands rise out of the sea, and to your left, local fishermen are hard at work.
As we glide across the waves, I watch for to make sure nobody accidentally paddles toward France.
Halfway through, we take a mini-break on a quiet beach and we can practice Rock sling so let’go to the competition ! 1,2,3,4 yesss !!! yess my best record !
On the way back, we usually hold a “friendly” race. Spoilers: someone always tries to go too fast, splashing themselves directly in the face, while I paddle casually alongside them like a serene sea turtle.
By the time we hit the shore, my arms feel like overcooked noodles, but seeing our guests smiling from ear to ear makes every single paddle stroke worth it. Being an intern here isn’t just work, it’s the best adventure I could ask for!

私はここでの仕事が大好きです。「海島遊民（かいとうゆうみん）クラブ」でのインターンとしての典型的な一日と、なぜそれが私にとって素晴らしい経験なのかをご紹介します。
まずアクティビティのスケジュールを確認すると……カヤックツアーがあるのを発見！最高です！
海島遊民クラブの素晴らしいスタッフの皆さんと一緒に、最初に行うのはお客様のためのカヤックの準備です。
準備が整ったらお客様をお迎えし、鳥羽の美しい海域やそこに生息する生き物についての説明（レクチャー）を行います。
地元の素敵な自然環境について学んだら、いよいよカヤックの漕ぎ方を練習します。さあ、出発です！
まずはパドルの使い方から。まるで歩き始めたばかりの赤ちゃんのようなぎこちなさですが、みんな頑張っています！
次はカヤックへの乗り込みです。「世界で一番美しいカヤック」とも言えるこのカヤックには、「アシ・オシリ・アシ（足・お尻・足）」という有名な手順で乗り込みます。
さあ、この地域の美しい景色を探索しに出かけましょう！
探検の準備はいいですか？でも、ちょっと待って、キャプテン！海へ繰り出す前に、まずは「ブートキャンプ（特訓）」の時間です。
「皆さん！右、左、右、左……次はバック（後退）！あ、そっちの右じゃなくて、もう片方の右ですよ！」
何度か意図せず360度回転してしまったりもしましたが、これで準備万端。
透明な海へと漕ぎ出します！目の前には美しい「三つ島」が海からそびえ立ち、左手では地元の漁師さんたちが熱心に働いています。
波の上を滑るように進みながら、誰かが間違ってフランスの方角へ漕いでいかないよう、目を配ります。
途中で静かなビーチに立ち寄って小休憩。ここでは「石投げ（水切り）」の練習もできます。
さあ、勝負だ！1、2、3、4……やった！自己ベスト更新です！
帰路では、たいてい「和やかな」レースを行います。
ネタバレすると、誰かがいつもスピードを出しすぎて顔に水をバシャバシャとかぶってしまう一方で、私は穏やかなウミガメのように、その横をのんびりと漕いでいくのです。
岸に戻る頃には腕が茹で過ぎた麺のようにヘトヘトになっていますが、お客様の満面の笑みを見ると、パドルを漕いだすべての苦労が報われたと感じます。
ここでのインターンは単なる仕事ではありません。
これ以上ない最高の冒険です！
