1Day Ama Experience Tour
Mikimoto Pearl Island was the first place in the world to successfully cultivate pearls.
You can watch a demonstration show of the traditional skills of the Ama divers who supported pearl farming.
After that, you will be taken to Osatsu Town (the town with the largest number of Ama divers in Japan).
On the way, you will go with us to the Observatory Centre, which offers a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the coastline of Iseshima.
You will then visit an Ama hut where you will have lunch.
Real ama divers will grill shellfish and fish for you. Enjoy a valuable conversation with an active ama diver!
If you wish, you can visit the Ama Cultural Museum and Ishigami Shrine.
- This is a private tour (you may be joined by other guests at the ama hut)
- You will be able to watch a demonstration show of Ama divers and have a free time to visit the Pearl Museum and other facilities
- Enjoy a seafood lunch and conversation with ama divers at the ama hut
- You can enjoy the seascape of Ise-Shima
- Depending on your wishes, you can visit the Ama Culture Museum and a shrine that is important to the Ama divers.
